Where is my order?

Order Status & Tracking

To track an existing order, please log into your Dachshund Treasures account and review your Order History.

The 4 Stages of Order Status

  1. Started: We have received your order and are in the process of processing it.
  2. Completed: Your order is in the creation phase or is awaiting shipment.
  3. Shipped: We have queued your order for shipment. In the case of traceable packages, a tracking number is issued at this point. Please keep in mind that if your order was queued for shipment after standard shipping times (5PM EST) or on a weekend, then it was not put in transit until the following business day.
  4. Canceled: Your order has been canceled within our system. If you are unsure as to why your order has been cancelled, please contact our Customer Service Department.

Making Changes to an Order

After your order is placed, it is generally processed within 24-48 hours.  Once your order has been processed, it immediately moves to the processing phase and can no longer be modified or canceled.  For more information on modifying or canceling an existing order, please call Customer Service at (954) 434-8277.

What are the available domestic shipping services?

Domestic Shipping Services

Dachshund Treasures uses the U.S. Postal Service and UPS for orders shipped within the US. You can choose from UPS Ground, UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS Next Day Air, or US Postal Service Priority Mail shipping services. If you need your order ASAP, UPS Next Day service shipping will deliver it to you in 1 business day from the date of shipment if ordered by noon EST. Please allow 2-3 business days for our USPS Priority Mail or UPS 2nd Day Shipping, and 4-7 business days for UPS Ground or USPS First Class. Available shipping options will vary depending on the product type, quantity ordered, and address type.

Special cases

  • If you request shipping to a PO Box or APO/FPO location, please choose the USPS shipping option
  • If you request shipping to US territories, please be sure to choose the US Territory as the country and NOT the United States

A variety of carriers deliver your orders, but we are proud to use the United States Postal Service and UPS for most of our domestic shipments.

How do I find out what it will cost to ship?

Calculating your shipping rate

Because there are so many variables in generating a basic shipping quote, we recommend that you use our calculate shipping tool on our cart to get the most accurate estimate pricing figure.
You need not make any purchase to do so.

You can generate your own price quote by adding the items you are considering for purchase to your shopping cart. If this is your first time using the Dachshund Treasures shipping tool, you may be asked to select the carrier, to enter a shipping zip code and/or address in order to proceed on to the page with the shipping estimates. Rest assured that you will not be charged unless you proceed all the way through to the completion of your order (and the Order Confirmation page).

Once you have entered the requested information needed to provide the estimate, the various available shipping options and relative pricing will be displayed. This page will also reflect an overall price for the order, including product, tax (if applicable) and shipping**.

Please note that both product & shipping prices are subject to change. Quotes generated using the method noted above are only valid for the browser session during which they are generated. Prices displayed during previous sessions will not be honored.

The cart does not reflect customs duties for internationally bound packages ordered through the DachshundTreasures.com site. For more information on import taxes, please contact your local customs office.

What are the shipping costs for orders to be shipped overseas?

International Shipping & Taxes

International orders may be subject to import duties and taxes (when placed through Dachshund Treasures.com). Fees charged depend on the country of delivery, and must be paid to the local tax authority upon receipt of your package. Dachshund Treasures is unable to predict whether or not you will be charged a fee or what that fee might be. Please contact your local customs office for further information.

Please note:

  • International shipments may be delayed by the customs process and/or other unforeseen circumstances beyond Dachshund Treasures' control.
  • If you choose "Standard Shipping" USPS Airmail (5-12 business days) , you will NOT be able to track your order. By choosing USPS Airmail shipping, your package will leave our facility and neither you nor Dachshund Treasures will be able to see the shipping status of your order.
  • If the ability to track the pack in transit is important to you, please consider selecting the USPS Priority Mail option. With this option, tracking will be available for the entire transit process.

What is your Return Policy?

Return Policy

If for any reason you are less than delighted with an item from Dachshund Treasures, please email us for an RMA # prior to returning your item(s).  The item(s) should arrive in unused condition (in their original packaging and tags) within 30 days from the date of purchase for an exchange or refund.  If you feel the need to insure your package against damage in transit, please do so.  We are not responsible for any damage incurred through mishandling by the Postal Service or USPS.

  1. The Customer is responsible for shipping charges on returns and exchanges unless the items are defective.
  2. Include a copy of your invoice or email confirmation with your return.
  3. Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the package to ensure proper routing upon receipt.

  • If you have requested an exchange an email will be sent letting you know once the exchange has been initiated.  Please keep in mind that any exchanges will incur new shipping charges.  These will be charged to your credit card account.

We regret that personalized, worn, used, or washed items, hot dog costumes, drop ship and custom orders are not returnable.
